Ok, so there is a bit of a history to this piece. Originally, I was going to have it done by the time the "dark knight" came out in theaters. When I didn't finish it by then, I took a break on it (primarily because I had no idea what to do with the background) and I completely forgot the piece even existed. Now, several months later, I found it and finished it and now it's up for the world to see.
And I'm pretty darn sick of looking at it.
this is probably my favorite work yet (as you should already know.)this is sweet
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteYou're ridiculous. Period.
you know... i just realized the vest has no buttons on it...
ReplyDeleteOh well
Hey. Art good. Buttonless vest bad.
ReplyDeleteWhat's up trust fund baby. Alright i have had time to sit here and digest this joker of yours, and i can say overall it went down pretty smoothly. The composition really tells the story for me, your eye really gets thrown around alot, giving it the chaotic feel i think you were goin for. I really love how you capture the burning building, im not sure if a building that far away could give a lighting source on the side of his arm, but i can dig, it gives it a more dramatic feel and it welcomes the viewer to the destruction. The spotlights are really clever but i think you should soften up the edges on the beams, the front one just seems a bit heavy for me. the Joker might i say is really nice, i like how your style is communicated through it, the slobber is creepy by the plaid takes the cake. I really like it man keep it up.
