Here are some early concepts for an illustration for a Great Lakes Life article, 25 Reasons We Love the Tri-State Region that didn't wind up getting used. I liked the ideas enough to post them...mostly just the tattoo one, though. The numbers drinking beer also make me smile...

The tattoo one is kickin! I kiiind of think he needs a nice hibiscus tattoo somewhere on that monster of an arm.
I think the tattoos were going to be the 25 things done up like a sleeve.
But you're right...dudes love a nice hibiscus.
