This post is actually rather inspiring. I've been wanting to just figure out what it is I want to draw when I'm not being assigned to do it. Making a post about the process might help.
Totally know what you mean. I've had some downtime recently for the first time in a while and it's hard to figure out what sort of stuff to work on when there isn't something you MUST work on. I find that I've been sketching more because of it. Trying to find what I want to tackle next.
Thanks, bud! The cowboy got some digital coloring and the Mario Bros coloring was touched up a bit, but everything else is just marker and colored pencil.

I love these man! Really awesome sketchbook pages. Were these colored/toned digitally?
